You'd better give a clear description of the location, nature, inducing factors, ways of relief and whether there are accompanying symptoms. How old are you? Is there a history of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes? You'd better do an ECG first to rule out the critical severity of myocardial infarction.

Usually muscle pain isn't a big concern, but if you do have risk factors to heart attack, muscle pain in left arm is an alarm.

Do you have high cholesterol? Do you have diabetes? Do you have high blood pressure? All are risk factors to heart attack.
