Cerebellar ectopia is a term used by radiologists to describe cerebellar tonsils that are low lying but do not meet the radiographic criteria for Chiari malformation. Since you have symptoms of spinal compression (e.g. leg numbness), treatment is needed. The treatment involves removal of the etiological mass and decompressive craniectomy. It is likely that your headache (migraine) may also improve with the surgery.

Nothing concerning showed up on the MRI. It does not explain your leg numbness and migraine. That said, the migraine could be due to many conditions. Could you describe your migraine in more details? Does anything trigger or worsen it?

Numbness in the leg can be caused by many conditions, as well. Some of the common causes are cervical spondylosis, lumbar spine problem, diabetes-induced peripheral neuropathy, etc.. You need to do an EMG to exclude these common causes first.
