How can I get rid of muscle spasms on my side all the way down my left leg?

I'm a 41 year old Male that suffered a spinal cord injury in 2010.I was diagnosed with brown sequard syndrome which means the nerves in my spine crossed leaving me with loss of motor skills on my left side that has gradually came back but is weak. And loss of sensation on my right side.Im on a very high dose of baclofen that I been taking over the past 8or9 years and I'm still experiencing the terrible spasms on my left side all through my left leg. Will strengthening up my left leg and side make the spasms go away?

Hi Howard, the spasms are related to your spinal problems. Have you consulted an orthopedist whether your problem can be treated by surgery? Baclofen has the effects to relax your muscles. If it doesn't work, you can try some pain killers such as celecoxib or pain killers targeting the neurological pain such as gabapentine.
