2 months now. Pulled it at gym on stretch machine. Pain at shoulder top.

62 never had shoulder problem. Overstrain at gym on stretching backwards I guess. Pain top of shoulder where bra strap rests...can’t lay on that side. Starts to heal then I forget and exercise and injure it again.

Chronic injury or strain can cause rotator cuff injury. For mild injury, you just need to rest for full recovery. It may take a long time. Thus for the next 6 months, you'd better avoid intensive exercises.
I think you should avoid exercising for some time. Rest more, and you can use some diclofenac ointment to relieve symptoms.
