I have overactive bladder. Is this caused by a UTI? Or is UTI caused by OAB?

71,female, lab, pain ,blood in urine, and e coli in bladder. Amoxicillin. Was taking  bactrim.

UTI can cause urinary frequency, incontinence or pain. You need to take antibiotics to treat UTI first. If amoxicillin and bactrim do not work, you need to change to another effective antibiotics. If you still have OAB after treating UTI, you can take meds to relieve the symptom.
