Can vertigo but now I'm unable to get up and walk without losing my balance.

I'm 78 years old I take meclizine I have for years and it seemed to be just fine with that but not now now there's something else going on and I can't walk a straight line across the room I'm scared

Do you mean that there is something else other than vertigo that is going on to cause your current problems? Maybe you should get a brain CT scan to rule out the possibility of a ministroke or a brain stroke, both of which could cause loss of balance.

Dizziness and an inability to walk in a straight line are most likely symptoms of problems with vestibular cerebellar balance. You are recommended to go to the Department of Neurology of the hospital as soon as possible
