Calcium in blood is 10.5.

I am a 53 year old female and just got my test result back with calcium at 10.5.   I have an appointment to see my doctor soon but would like an answer sooner.   Is this something to really be worried about?

thank you

Generally speaking, a normal range for the calcium blood test in adults is between 8.6 and 10.2 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL). This range can vary from lab to lab. So 10.5 is almost normal, not something to be concerned about.
