Hi... does anyone know any less expensive drug for liver cancer in Mexico? I heard drugs are lower priced there. My husband is in late stage of liver cancer, doctor said Sorafenib can help extend his life, but we don't have insurance, and the drug is so expensive, much more than we can afford. Please, anyone can help us?
Hello. Sorafenib is the medication for kidney and liver cancer. It's costly, about $160 per 200 mg pill, daily dose is 4 pills. If you don't have insurnace, this will cost a forture. You may try to find any foundation that might provide support. An alternative may be Sorafenib equivalent manufactured in India, it can be 90% cheaper. Yet, the drug made in India might not be as good. The India product isn't available in local pharmacies, either. Some said there's India online pharmacy that sells them. Some tries to get help from an Indian local doctor. You may look it up. Mexico? I don't know. Hope this helps. God bless you.
If your husband is a veteran they will give it to you for free or barley nothing,,,,,
