My creatine jump to 124 this time from 64. What should I do? I need help.
you should go to the doctor and find out the cause of this problem.
It might means the kidney is damaged more seriously, and you need to go see your urologist, get some other tests maybe, and get medication. Diet isn't enough to stop the disease progression. Go see a doctor.
My creatinine was a 1.1 is that to high. Or what I need to do to get it down
it's normal.

Is there need for concern with this increase in such a short period of time?
THANKS!!!
what's the level of BUN and creatine? are they normal?
Its based on age and ratio but you could be dehydrated.  What is your range on your creatine level
What's the best way to ingest salvia? Who is doing research re: it's effectiveness in lowering creatine?
Oh, certain herbs, like salvia, are not for a bite, the typical way is to boil them with water and drink the water. Or you can buy supplement with the active ingredient extracted from the herbs. There are quite a few in your local drug stores.
my creatinine is at 7. what can I do to lower it
the creatinine is at 7mg/dl. It's high above the normal and itl's serious. you should see a Nephrologist to help you. My tips won't help you very much, but the doctor could.
Just had bloodwork done & my Creatinine shows a value of 0.95 with a Reference Range 0.60-0.86 mg/dL and my EGFR Non Afr American is at 55 with a Reference Range>-60mL/min/1.73m2.  What concerns should I have. (have not been able to contact my doc).  Thank you.
Hello, does your urea nitrogen increase and creatinine decrease in your urine? Is there any urinary protein in the urine? Is there hematuria? At the same time, you need to closely observe whether you have other physical symptoms such as edema, hypertension, frequency of urination, urgency of urine, pain of urine and so on in order to cope with the early decline of renal function.

Thank you Erik Alonzo, but I want to mention I only had blood drawn & not urine analysis done.  These numbers pertain to blood work.  Per your thoughts, only item you listed I have is hypertension, however, that has been under control for years with meds, averaging 120/70.

Hello Mrs. Santilli, at this stage it's falling into stage 3a of chronic kidney disease, meaning mild to moderate kidney failure. Frequency and urgency of urine is associated to infection, if you have such symptoms you may have acute UTI and UTC can affect the kidney function, when the UTI is clear, the kidney function might recover.  When you only have hypertension, it's more likely just chronic kidney disease CKD. Do you have high blood sugar? The risk factors of CKD are hypertension, high blood sugar, infection, age. You may discuss with your doctor, the purpose is to identify if any underlying disease exists, if no, then a balanced diet plan your doctor will suggest. Medication, maybe, maybe not, it depends on your overall condition.
How can lower creatinineo.99
Bun 19 ,what can take nature
Thanks
Hi Sharron, your numbers are okay. But a healthy lifestyle can always help. Me, I take a bottle of kidney detox every year, I also take a bottle of liver detox every year. I got them from iHerb. My blood test has always been good.
I think serum creatinine in 0.99 is normal.  For BUN, around 7 to 20 mg/dL (2.5 to 7.1 mmol/L) is considered normal. What is the measurement unit of your BUN? Is it mg/dL or mmol/L? I think it's mg/dL, that's my guess according your serum creatinine level, if I'm right your BUN is also normal.

To keep your kidney healthy, try to control blood pressure, blood sugar, eat less fat.
Hi Sharron, I had my results close to yours, I went to my Urologist last week. He told me what I need to do for better kidney health is to manage the stress. Apparently, constant stress causes faster breathing and heart rate, a spike in blood pressure, dilated pupils, tense muscles and increased levels of fats and sugars in the bloodstream, none of them is good. I have very bad sleep, feel upset from time to time. My doctor asked to take a nap every noon, limit salt, limit fat, quit coffee, quit milk chocolate, an apple a day, and talk to people every day, even by a phone call. He said being relaxed and happy is the way to keep me healthy.
Does your creatinie levels effect your blood pressure?
They're linked in a way. A higher blood creatinine means a severer kidney disease, kidney disease and high blood pressure are interacted. CKD raises blood pressure, high blood pressure impairs kidney.
Yes. High level of creatine means your kidney function is impaired, which contributes to hypertension.
