can cedar fever turn into pneumonia
Hello, it is possible to develop into an allergic pneumonia.  Cedar fever is actually not a fever or infection, it's an allergy. There's a type of pneumonia called Hypersensitivity pneumonitis, that may occur when antigenic dusts being inhaled repeatedly. Other than pneumonia, allergic bronchitis is also possible.
A lot of woodworkers have lung problems caused by cedar dust, but usually after long time exposure. Hypersensitivity pneumonitis is a disease commonly seen in woodworkers with long time contact of cedar wood dust.  At a short-term exposure, pneumonia is less common, allergy is more common.
