When all the tests were done and I was proven to have endometriosis,my GYN put me on a slowly increasing does of birth control pills. I was on one pill a day. When I reached the final stage, I was on ten pills a day. I continued this for 2 years. I gained some weight, but the pain was gone. About two years later, I was weaned off the pills. I lost all the gained weight and felt like my self again. My GYN said the most recent electronic tests showed the tissue was still growing and had traveled to several other organs, and would probably continue to travel and grow. Also, he said that once you had endometriosis, you would forever have it. Question: Do you still have endometriosis after menopause?
