My cholesterol went up 100 pts in a year what is going on and I take pravastatin 20 mg at night maybe you stuff that I eat but then what is a pill good for

So do I. This year my LDL raise like 50%, I don't even feel any change in my lifestyle, eat the same, live the same. Perhaps it's becasue I'm getting old, and I have to eat much less to keep healthy. Scary...

A low fat high fiber diet, physical exercises, and medication should help you lower your bad cholesterol. You may need to discuss in details with your doctor.
