Lupus anticoagulant is an antibody that prolongs clotting time and can be either IgG or IgM or both. Found in SLE, spontaneous abortion, multiple thrombosis, thrombocytopenia, malignant tumors and drug-induced immune response. In addition, lupus anticoagulants may also occur in patients with autoimmune diseases or lymphoproliferative malignant lesions, as well as patients undergoing long-term psychotropic medications, and opportunistic infections and malignant lesions associated with AIDS. If the test results are positive, review it in a few weeks to see if the antibody is only short-lived.
