I have Chronic Bronchitis. Am 82 years old, stopped smoking on my 24' birthday. Became a vegetarian at least 50 years ago. Lived and worked for 15 years in air polluted city in The Netherlands, moved in 1978 to the USA Was diagnosed having COPD around 1998, Chronic Bronchitis started couple years later. COPD is stable, living since 2017 in the Smokey Mountains. Clean air is doing me well, inhale Advair only once a day. Am glad COPD it's hardly progressing, but how come I got it. Do I have to blame myself, smoking cigarettes for 8 years, or is it the 15 year living/working in the polluted city?
