On August 16, 2018, I tripped, fell, and bumped my head on a outdoor deck railing. The body blow was strong yet my head blow felt mild. Four or five days later I suffered what I can only guess was a instantaneous black out and full concussion symptoms. There was no warning and I only recall my face scraping against a bathroom wall as my face took the full weight of resistance as I fell or crumpled to the floor. But, I had no other evidence of a head blow and only mild scratches on my face. Many hours later my room mate found me crumpled at the foot of my bed. I was only the slightest bit concious, totally confused. At some point that day or the next I made my way on to the bed. For three days I slept and recall only fuzzy thoughts of trying to remember what happened. On the fourth day I began regaining concious thought. On the fifth day I felt somewhat normal but my balance was about 30% impaired. I have no recall of my life for approximately 10 days before my concussion event, except for the fall I took four
Hi, the symptoms are typical post-concussion symptoms. Symptoms like concentration and memory, irritability, depression, and anxiety generally occur in the days or weeks after the injury, they're called "late symptoms".

Should you go back to hospital if you experience late symptoms?
If you've had the scan, either CAT or MRI, and the image says concussion, then you don't need to go, unless you had a second injury. The treatment of post concussion symptoms is rest. If you haven't taking any imaging test on the brain, and you start to feel symptoms like headache, anxiety, irritability, confusion, you should go get an imaging.
