i’m a 11 year old girl and i have a sharp chest pain in the middle of my chest it lasts a couple seconds, but it’s hard to breath or take deep breaths. i don’t have any type of illness some calls it chest pains but my pains moves on to my back and other body parts. please tell me it’s nothing serious.
Is the pain consistent or paroxysmal? Is it related to physical exercise? Will deep breath worsen it? A few life-threatening conditions that cause chest pain: ischemic heart disease, pulmonary embolism, pneumothorax, and aortic dissection. Pneumothorax is the most possible one in young people. Other possible diseases: pneumonia, ribitis, shingles, intercostal neuritis, pleurisy, esophagitis, hiatal hernia, and esophageal. You should have a chest X-ray at least.
