Is there a different treatment for hshimotos than hypothyroidism

If the patient has shown hormone deficiency, the treatment is the same as hypothyroidism.

In hashimoto's, patients show Hyperthyroidism in early stage, when it progresses, patients develop Hypothyroidism. In hypothyroidism stage, the treatment is the same as in hypothyroidism.

This describes my condition exactly!. I started with Graves of hyperthyroid and then many years later now have Hashimoto's thyroiditis. I am 61, Female. The Hashimoto's was diagnosed about 5 yrs ago. I was in remission for a couple of years and on no meds.. Then boom! Underactive!
