Hello  I have a spine disorder with dysfuntion of major joints the pain is very unbearable some times I can not even get out of bed  I have seen a doctor and he told me even with surgery the pain may get worst and therapy was done and one time I could not leave home for a month because I could not walk and I have been fighting with SSI for almost 4 years with still no help and I still have to live with this pain sometimes I can not walk a block before my right leg locks up and someone has to take me home
You have had surgery and the postoperative pain relief is not obvious. The best method at present may be symptomatic supportive treatment.
She never said she had surgery. She said that her doctor told her that even "IF" she had surgery, the pain could get worse, and it may not even help her. She did however say that she had therapy once. I know it may be difficult to read what she wrote, due to her lack of any kind of punctuation. IE comma's, periods, question marks, ect. I can't stand reading comments from people like her, as they are very confusing. Her whole comment reads like one huge, never ending sentence. Given this, you may wish to revise your answer.

See a pain mgmt dr. I was prescribed topiramate for my severe sciatica.you can also him about alternatives or options. At least get a second opinion and some who specializes with pain which they can also prescribe narcotic drugs that primary Dr's can no longer do!
I have had a constant pain in my back for ages , not one Dr has ever gave me a dionoces for my pain, everyday i twist to crack myback for a short relief but that is temporary,,, i wish someone can tell me the exact cause of my back pain so i can get the proper treatment and care,,.
Hello, there are many reasons for back pain, such as spinal dislocation, spinal fracture, rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, spinal tuberculosis, spinal sensation, osteoporosis, disc herniation, bone dysplasia, I want to involve pain, tumor, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, etc. caused by visceral diseases. Has your doctor ruled out all of these?
Me too, I also have back pain for years, not everyday though. For a period of time I'd think I have heart attack, doctors said no. It's been years so the good thing for me is it's not a heart attack. I've also checked my neck and chest spine, there's degeneration but doctor said it doesn't cause my pain. I'm still in pain, it could be muscle pain, so I do yoga, it helps a bit.
The right side of my torso hurts, primarily at my waist area and toward the back. It began with a slight pain when I moved last night, has increased to a more intense pain even when I breath deeply. Even my shoulder hurts, and the pain extends to my elbow. What would cause the rapid onset of this pain?
might be cervical spine problem.
You slept wrong, and may have pulled a muscle. It's happened to me a few times. I highly doubt it's a cervical spinal problem. Please ignore Zeta Moore's comment above, as that is a worst case scenario, and I can't believe she would even say that to you, getting you paranoid. You said it happened just last night while you slept, and you never gave reference to this sort of thing happening to you before last night. So again, I highly doubt Zeta's diagnosis. smh
It seems to me more like a problem caused by inappropriate sleeping position. However, the possibility of cervical/spinal disc herniation could not be definitively excluded. It is probably necessary to have a CT scan.
I had lower back surgery in 2010..The doctor put medal in my lower back.I had a herniated disk.are slipped disk. For the past 4 years my back hurts just like it did before I got the surgery..And a back pain shot did not help..What can be done to stop the pain..Another surgery to take out that medal..Please help.
That happens in artificial herniated Disc. The problem is , if you take the artificial disc out, what will you implant?
The disc causing pain now isn't necessarily the one you've replaced with the artificial one. In this case, it doens't matter taking out the artifical disc, it's about what to do for the one cause ache.
