They say I have stage 4 COPD, I recently bought a health monitor watch. I haven’t had my oxygen on all day and it has held in the upper 90’s but my heart rate goes up to 114-124 that’s when I feel I’m out of breath but accustomed the watch I’m not. Anything physical makes me feel like I can’t breathe. So what’s the deal?
I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in 2017
Mother is 88 yrs old. Has had 2 strokes and two slight heart attacks. Has high blood pressure which she takes 2 pills a day.  Her blood pressure isnt to high but her heart rate is. 142. Is. That to high for her age and medical problems?
142 is too high. Go to the hospital to check which kind of arrhythmia is present and then symptomatic treatment. Go as soon as possible and wish you health.
My husband's blood test is still in the 2000 range. What is normal in test for congestive heart failure.
do you mean the BNP is 2000?  was the  kidney function OK? The serum level of BNP is related to the kidney function and age? Besides,  you should monitor BNP and see it increase or reduce? does he have symptoms? Paroxysmal dyspnea at night and can't lie down at sleep? edema in the lower limp?
Is 4.5 on scale for congestive heart failure bad they gave me laisks to bring the water iff me my whole body was swelled up hands legs feet face and had fluid in my lungs ..iam scared
Hello, heart failure is staged into four phases. As for 4.5, what is the indicator? According to your description of edema, your condition is a bit serious, but as long as you follow the doctor's plan to treat on time, there is a chance to recover.
What can I do to get the fluid of the lungs like ASAP myself
Hi, when people say fluid of the lung, they usually mean pulmonary edema or pleural effusion. These are two conditions that vary greatly. You may simply understand this way: fluid in the lung, or fluid outside/around the lung. Which one is it?
I am a 54 year old female and back in June of this year, I was diagnosed with CHF and a lower, left, leaky heart valve. It has changed my life a great deal because my b/p had dropped so low that I was told if I hadn't went to the hospital that night, I would not have made it to see the next day. You see, I have 7 grandkids and I want to live long enough to see them grow up and start a family. The doctors here do not seem to have time to talk to me so I am trying to gather the information myself. I am on several heart medications, nitro pills, and nitro patch. None of them seem to be helping. I am still in pain and feel like crap all the time. I have no energy. My insurance has dropped me and after this month, I won't be able to afford to get my meds. I am at a stalemate. And I still am not really sure how dangerous my condition is!! I try to be brave for my family and friends, but when I am alone, I break down. Only my best friend in Florida knows me well enough to know that I am not well and he is not happy
Hello Mrs. Carver, I don't know the medication you've been on, so I'm just sharing for your information. Usually we would limit fluid intake and use Digoxin(for stronger heart beat) & Furosemide(treat fluid build-up).
Get appointment with your cardiolgist nurse and have her explain your condition and answer your questions. They may also help you find where to get low cost or no cost meds. Hope this helps.
My opinion is to get another dr., they aren't doing their job if they aren't giving you answers. Also, my daughter, only 32, was diagnosed with CHF 12 years ago; she is now in her 4th satage.Reciently we thought this was it, her Dr. Prescribed her ENESTRO, and she's doing great. I call it the miracle drug!!! Remember that name and talk to your Dr about it.
Be more proactive let the doctor know that you have questions and don't let him out of the exam room until he answers them. And they have other insurance coverage is out there that will cover your medication I don't know how old you are but I am 60 and I'm on Medicare and I'm low income and I get the coverage through Humana and Medicare try them or go on the internet under health coverage. Org I think that's what it is or just go under health insurance needed. I was just told I have congestive heart failure but they've known it for three years and never told me I'm just starting to do research on it myself. Or change your doctor. Sometimes you just have to be your own advocate and be proactive you're paying these doctors make them work for you.

My blood pressure is 60/50, what that mean
Low blood pressure, do you feel dizzy?
Blood pressure in 60/50 is low. I am afraid your BP reading is not right. You may have your BP retest by a professional(nurse or doctor). If your BP is always lower than 90/60mmHg,you should see a cardiologist.
You're dead.  lol
Mine runs like that. Asked the nurses at the cardiologist about it. They said it was fine.
There's a difference. Some people have lower BP, like 85/55, they don't have any symptom, tests are all okay, then you can leave it until the day you do have symptom. A lower BP 60/50 is a different thing, it's abnormal and not fine.

fluid build up around your heart

My heart emenzs were elvatated. I haven't had a heart attack yet. All the section I had were light headed and passed out. Would you please send me a email. Thanks
Elevated enzymes and passing out are signs of a heart attack. EKG should be done at least. See a doctor — a cardiologist would be the best.
