Ive have had these pains and awful discomfort in upper stomach area for four months now been to er twice in last three months and to primary doc twice , this last time they saw a cyst on pancreas but apparrently theres no treatment i am kind of in the same spot looking to speak with someone who may have any thoughts or suggestions
Hi, cysts are usually okay, but some can be cancerous. So the doctors might take a sample of the pancreatic cyst fluid to determine if cancer cells are present. When the cyst is causing pain, treatment is necessary. A pseudocyst can be drained, a serous cystadenoma or an enlarged pseudocyst can be removed by surgery.
Pancreatic pain is just below left anterior rib cage. Have had it for 12.5 YEARS. Discussing pancreatectomy.
My aunt had a total pancreatectomy with an islet transplant last year. According to the analysis, it is likely that she inherited it from my grandpa for some gene mutation reason...Back then, my aunt was in such a critical condition that she had to have her pancreas completed removed. Right now, she's better off but still has to maintain a regular intake of various enzymes. Sometimes, she just feels this weird back pain...

I was always told I couldn’t live without my pancreases without a feeding tube is this true? I’ve had chronic pancreatitis since 1998 when I had my gall bladder removed
Yes, you can live without a pancreas. You’ll need to make a few adjustments to your life, though. Your pancreas makes substances that control your blood sugar and help your body digest foods. After surgery, you’ll have to take medicines to handle these functions.
I don't know if I have Pancreatic Cancer! what I do know is that My upper back hurts very badly, especially [e when I'm awake from sleeping burning pain right under my heart. Do know what to do?
If you can afford, see a doctor and get some tests. Burning pain under the heart is more likely the stomach though. There're many possible causes to back pain as well.
