Why is this called Cholesteral level " By Age" ?? Thanks for splitting this up in Child & Adult levels. It's a big help !  NOT
Maybe it's because all adults share the same range. The normal range for a 20-year old is the same as the normal range for a 60-year old. Of course the average cholesterol level goes up in the aged group, with aged people commonly having a higher cholesterol level doesn't make it a normal level.

Thank you for clarifying that.
Where can we foundthe numbers because I have searched everywhere I can think and can not found them? Thanks ahead of time.
Check the article posted by U.S. National Library of Medicine. The healthy levels are basically the same for adults, except a slight difference in the normal HDL levels (40mg/dL or higher for adult males, and 50mg/dL or higher for adult females).
