When you have had surgery for colorectal cancer and it has been 4 years and there is constipation in the intestines that is left what is the procedure to curing this type of contipation and is it dangerous and could the patient die if not fix able

Good news, it's not that serious. Constipation is common, laxative is the first try. If you feel serious pain, that can be adhesive small bowel obstruction, doctors may perform surgery and remove that obstructed bowel.
