I have been diagnosed with rectocele and use a pessary to help with symptoms. My doctor has also mentioned surgery for this. I am interested in knowing more about this surgery and where to look for information on living with rectocele

After giving birth to my third son I had to use a pessary. I was 30 years old . I was told by my doctor that I was the youngest person he knew of that had to use a pessary. I did have the surgery and have had no problems since. I am now 70.

God bless you, Mrs. I have a friend who had the surgery with invisible improvement.

My husband had the surgery. It went well but later he can't lift his lower right leg and there's numbness in the knee area. Is it the effect of the surgery? My husband was administered an epidural and used stirrups in the surgery.

Hi there. It can be caused by the surgery. Did your husband get lumbar disc herniation or spinal stenosis before the surgery? These conditions have the same effect. Stroke also causes similar symptoms. You can see a doctor to find out the reason.
