My ?? Is I'm a recovery alcoholic i got 5 years sober an i suffer from gastric bad inflammation stomach why???? When i haven't take a drink in 5 years
causes for gastritis:
1)HP:Helicobacter pylori is one of the major causative factors ;
2)NSAID: Taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) and aspirin can increase the risk of getting peptic ulcer disease by four times when compared to non-users.
3)Stress:Stress due to serious health problems such as those requiring treatment in an intensive care unit is well described as a cause of gastritis.
Dietary factors such as spice consumption, were hypothesized to cause ulcers until late in the 20th century, but have been shown to be of relatively minor importance.[21] Caffeine and coffee, also commonly thought to cause or exacerbate ulcers, appear to have little effect.
Other causes of peptic ulcer disease includes: gastric ischaemia, drugs, metabolic disturbances, cytomegalovirus (CMV), upper abdominal radiotherapy, Crohn's disease, and vasculitis

It is still unclear if smoking does increase the risk of gastritis.
I went to the doctor yesterday and they told me i have gastritis. I had my gallbladder with stones removed 4 years ago. I have pain on my upper back and under my right breast. So the doctor gave me ciprofloxacin. Will this work.
Hi, it depends, did your doctor tell you which type of infection you have? If it's H. pylori infection, ciprofloxacin won't work. If it's caused by other bacteria, ciprofloxacin will work.
GASTRITIS...two(2)cups of coconut water everyday...HELICOBACTER PYLORI...two (2)
tablespoons of Unrefined Coconut Oil everyday.
treatment for gastritis which occurs daily mostly in the afternoon.
Medically, you'll need a test of H. Pylori infection, and a gastroscopy. If you don't want to, you can also find some OTC medication from local pharmacy. Tests are recommended.
