Hi, when a person's GFR is less than 60 mL/minute, but more than 30 mL/minute, it's defined as chronic kidney disease stage 3. Normal GFR is 90-120, stage 3 is moderate decrease in GFR. It means moderate kidney damage. Treatment is required.
