are the exercises done of the bursa hurts bad while doing it? I have had pain/swelling for 2 days at a level that is hard to describe. It hurts just like gout. Swelling has gone down some. I am 60 years old and over did it putting screws in my fence for 3 days.

Hello Mr. Hayes, I would agree the exercises might be intense, let the shoulder rest for a few days, it usually helps.
