My dr says I have Costochondritis, but it’s not in my chest area. It’s my left side towards the back. Where the ends of my ribs are, but some pain is going into my left side into the upper part of my stomach area. He prescribed Voltaren & I’m no sure if I should use the gel or even if it’s really Costochondritis.

Acutally, the common practice is to try the medication first, if you feel better, they're the right medication. If you don't feel any improvement, you go see another doctor.
