My sister has been diagnosed to have a mass in the bladder and needs to be removed by a robotic arm. Please clarify this for us; is the mass a tumor?

Most likely yes. A tumor can be either benign or malignant, the doctor will take a biopsy and tell you the result.

it can be a tumor. abnormal mass should be removed ,no matter what it is. it is not beneficial to your bladder function, it can cause infection or other problem.
