I am experiencing rapid heartbeats when I have this my blood pressure rises (normally I don’t have high blood pressure) the last 2 times I have had rapid heart beat I have felt discomfort in the chest area is this a cause of concern

Hello Margarett, if you feel discomfort when the heart beats fast, it's a health concern. I'll recommend you to take an EKG to identify the cause of fast heart beat.

It's normal to feel rapid heartbeat under high blood pressure. I think the first thing you need to do is to lower your blood pressure.

Well, if the heartbeat is rapid. Better to ask for medical help as soon as possible.
