70 year old male  starter having sharp sudden pain in right calf lasting about 30 seconds apiece. Started today and have had two about eight hours apart.
I think it's not Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy. 30 seconds of pain and the pain goes away suddenly? According to your description, It's hard to say what it is. If it happens again, you should see a doctor and get tests.  
A few life-threatening chest pain: ischemic heart disease, pulmonary embolism, pneumothorax,aortic dissection. other disease: pneumonia,Ribitis, shingles, Intercostal neuritis,pleurisy(TB ,maybe no fever)Esophagitis, hiatal hernia, esophageal cancer,lung cancer.
you should  go to hospital to find out.
