My spouse had hyperparathroidectomy surgery a few years ago. The surgeon removed all but a quarter of one gland. Now blood calcium is slowly creeping up over last two years. Now it it like 10.46 with normal PTH. With family history of multiple myeloma, should we insist on seeing endocrinologist sooner than March? Is it possible the gland could have grown back?
you should insist on seeing the endocrinologist. it's possible that the gland could grown back.
