Can a veteran come down with chloracne at anytime after exposure to agent orange or is there a time limit on this condition to show up.
VA presumes chloracne in Veterans is related to their exposure to Agent Orange or other herbicides during military service when the disease appears within one year of exposure to Agent Orange to a degree of at least 10 percent disabling by VA's rating regulations.
I have had a skin condition that resembles psoriasis shortly after my first tour in Vietnam. It started to appear initially on my torso. It will flare up on my stomach area but move to my extremities and the past several years has settled in my scalp area and my one of my lower leg area. I have been to numerous dematolgists at a cost of several thousand dollars. Every one of them have tried many treatments to no avail. I have a Vietnam vet who has the same disease and also visited several dematoligists. I think it is Agent Orange and a blood disease. This is driving me crazy. I have cut my hair so short that I feel and look like like a military recruit. If anyone suffers from these symptoms and have the same problems please email me. I need a cure.
