M a Vietnam Vet. Fought out in the jungles of Vietnam n Cambodia. Exposed to agent orange. I have a cough that has not gone away in a year. VA doctors can not control it. Have been give meds for cops. Like puffers n pills. N still there. Could help me out n give me some advise. Thank u
Hello Mr. Alvarez, as you may have known, agent orange is linked to respiratory cancer, cough that doesn't go away for long is one of the symptoms of respiratory cancer. Has the VA doctor given you CT scan on chest during the past 6 months? The first step is to rule out the existence of respiratory tumor, then to work on the cough.
Yes, a CT first. The cause to a long-lasting cough can almost always be traced in the CT report.
