I had tests run on my heart and the reading that I seen it is saying mitral valve mild mitral valve sclerosis and thickening. Thickening of the capillary muscles noted. And Aeortic vavle mild aortic valve sclerosis triscuspid valve mild triscuspid regurgitation. I have not seen my Dr yet. But I am trying to figure out what all this means. If somebody can help me I would greatly appreciate. I am only 39 years old with 3 kids.
Hello Tonya, none of these leads to chest pain from heart attack, heart attack is CAD, when plaque blocks the blood vessel and stops the blood to your heart. Is your cholesterol level okay?
Tonya who ordered those tests for you ? They should be the one explaining to you what the findings indicate
I had  a Heart attack 01/13/2019. Worst pain in my life and I’ve been through a lot. Liver transplant, have 5 children. Women LISTEN TO YOUR BODIES. I went the week prior with horrible chest pain and the hospital sent me home the next day saying GI. I had mini attacks every night after that and the at 1:30 am I had the last horrible attack that was like no other pain I’ve ever experienced. It was like wearing a super tight tee shirt. The pain was from the elbow up on both arms and the entire area across my chest. I suffered through it for 45 minutes before calling 911. I was RIGHT! I’m glad I called. I did wait too long fearing I would be treated like an idiot but I callled. Two stents later I’m here.
lucky for you, since you have stent implanted, you should be more careful and take the  drugs Following the doctor's advice, especially the anti-platelet drug and statin.
try to do exercise gradually. see your cardiologist regularlly.
Karen, I know that pain only to well, first Heart attack I had a clean EKG was sent home, I was having a heart attack for 3 days before I was finally diagnosed. I had another attack 2 yrs. Later, now I have two stents with left sided heart damage. My pain was in the chest ,jaw, left arm. If you start feeling that pain again keep going to the ER till you are taken seriously,  never feel like an idiot.
Can't agree more. Tests can be false negative. What happens if it goes worse on my way home? I could have a heart arrest and I could have died. Trust our instincts more than machines for this.
I will be 75 Jan 24th Except for back pain & a low milligram medication for high blood pressure...I am healthy! Half an hour ago, my heart started beating rapidly. I feel light headed, teeth hurt, jaw hurts & I feel light headed. Should I go to the ER?
yes ,you should go the ER ASAP.
Yes!!!!!!!!!?
Sudden left or right turns of head causes me to become very light headed.Today it happen Ed and had slight tingle in left arm and discomfort in stomach area.Happpened 5 months ago and went ER and aftet multiple test ,ejection factor was 143.Hsppen about 40 minutes ago. Am feeling better. What?
you should should see a Neurologist or Otolaryngologist, see if you have Otolith,or other problems.
Over the last 6 months I have been having quick sharp pains under my left breast with achy pain that goes into my left shoulder.I have a heart murmur but lately has really been acting up.I feel like my heart floods and it takes my breath away.my stress level has been very high lately so not sure if I should be concerned.should I ?I'm 47.both parents had major heart attaks.
Since you are very anxious about this, you should see a cardiologist. Heart attack could show pains under my left breast, mostly not achy pain.
because you have family history of major heart attaks, you should be careful. if you have very serious pain , you should go to ER ASAP.
Having trouble breathing and having tightness in chest   I’m not sure what is happening
Either heart or lung, go to ER.
Sarah Krieg I am turning 43. You described what I am going though. Only that sharp pain was so intense it took my breath away. It was the worst 2 days of my life. I could not yell for help. I barely could breathe. I went to the ER and waited after they did a sloppy version of an EKG. Leaving me to wait for hours in this pain in their over crowded waiting room. I left. Atleast at home I could be somewhat comfortable. Hours later the ER called me. They said I need to get get down to the ER ASAP. I did not go. They called me that weekend more than all my calls  together. I was never read those results. But they found me a Doctor as a new patient I was seen in two days. I still have the dull pain in my neck left shoulder and I get out of breathe from just a few steps. I have two kids. I can not work when I can not breathe and I am always out of breathe. Bartenders are always on the go. How I am going to support my kids......
Hi, did the ER people say it's a heart attack? Cause it sounds so much like it. However, it's been quite some days. If it's a heart attack you can't make many days. Did you actually get a diagnosis? It's kind of important for you.
No one told me anything. I am suppose to see a pulmonologist and cardiologist all with in a week. I had another EKG and was told my heart stops beating than the left aorta suck in air. Which is why I feel that punch. The ER tried getting me back in there. They called me at home hours after I left. It's been almost a month since I was pinned on my left just along the side of my left breast by 9 inch rebar. I noticed that sharp pain under my left breast about six months ago.
On the EKG from the hospital. I saw oxygen level 80 and enlarged left aorta. The rest I did not understand.
Did you have catheterization before you had the punch? Air in aorta is rare and is complication from a catheterization. Otherwise, how did the air get in there?
I had terrible chest pain, shortness of breath and pulse 130 resting, I went to the er. They told me i has tachycardia and angina. Told Me to follow up with primary care doc. That was Friday. Today Sunday I’ve been having chest pain, shortness of breath, jaw and neck pain and stomach pain. I don’t want to go back to the er just to hear it’s your angina
You should go to the ER ASAP. you may have myocardial infarction, which is life-threatening. you should go to ER, have EKG and blood test, if your cTnT/cTnI is increasing, emergent PCI should be given.
I am a 41 year old female. I recently in the past 2 weeks have woke out of a sleep 3 times in the middle of the night having a awful ache or pain in my ears or what feels like ears and whole bottom of face. Also a sort of heaviness in my chest. The last time was lastnight and it scared me. It hurt so much I  had to stand over my dresser and catch my breath. I am a smoker and I'm overweight.  I have gained over 40lbs in the past 5 mos due to a injury and being out of work and a medication I'm taking.   I'm concerned only because the last one I had was so disabling but I don't know if these would be signs of a heart attack.  Especially if it happens when I'm sleeping.  Do you have any input, please and thank you.
Hello, it is difficult to tell whether you have heart disease or not based on the symptoms you describe. But obesity and smoking are risk factors for cardiovascular disease. For your health, it is recommended that you exercise properly and try to quit smoking. If you feel unwell, it is recommended to consult the specialist hospital for further consultation or provide more detailed information.

This does sound like a heart attack, the pain in the whole bottom of your face and neck and shoulders, plus you are overweight and a smoker. On the other side, you've had the episodes a couple of times and you're still fine, this doesn't sound like a heart attack. But something is wrong, and you better see a cardiologist.
Do you have family history of heart attack, at this young age?
If you still have normal menstruation, the chance of heart attack is small.
If you're a smoker, or overweight, you should see a doctor. And pulmonary embolism should be considered as one of the possible.
Not sure if it is heart has pain in left arm and chest but when she takes a Rolaid and chamomile tea starts to burp feeling goes away has this on and off 6 months .she is 94 .
At this age, better be careful.
Sounds like heart burn, gerd but I agree at that age I wouldn’t take any chances
Ive woken up 2x with heart burn and once with a pain in my throat should I be worried?
If you say heart burn, it's more like acid reflux, heart pain is more like pressing or squeezing.
It's acid reflux, it happens to many people. When you have a reflux you may drink some pure water. Acid reflux is usually linked with a GI problem so better you see a GI expert.
