My bp runs around 180/115 but often spikes to around 260/160s
No doctor has done anything but give me more and more medications and check for calcium. Dumped with a blood test? The more I move around the higher it goes. Anyone else having this problem and can tell me what to do?
blood pression like this should consider endocrine system problems.Adenoma in Adrenal cortex,Primary aldosterone syndrome,Pheochromocytoma···you should take some blood and urine test.
Are you overweight and have been told to loose weight?
My friend had high blood pressure like that. He also was getting sores on his body. I told him to get his kidneys checked. He had large kidney stones.
Wow that really I would go to ER or find another heart Dr?
I am having the same problem, more and more medications is the doctors answer!!
I had middle back pains with muscle spasms, so bad I can’t walk. Now with stomach pains and upper armpit down to my hand all on the right side. Now headaches
Common causes of back pain: spinal cord disease, cervical spondylosis, lumbar disc herniation, interspinous ligament inflammation, discogenic pain, fracture, bone tuberculosis, fasciitis, osteoporosis; Confused "back pain" and "stomach pain" could be signs of heart attack. You should go to ER ASAP.It's dangerous.
The most likely cause seems to be galbladder stones or cholecystitis. It could cause back and abdominal pain, and this pain can radiate to the arms. Need to do a gallbladder ultrasound
I was having pains across my chest. Not severe but uncomfortable. At one point my right arm went numb.Next day I was nausiated first part of the morning.
How long has this symptom lasted? Are there any symptoms such as cough? If you have a long duration and the symptoms are not relieved, you are advised to go to the hospital.
Yess that's wat i went thru the coughing 2 bolttles of Nyquil & 1 bottle of mutinex cough syrup and nothing went to hospital did test on me angiogram & found a 90% clod arterie ......
Symptoms affecting the upper chest seem to be associated with the heart most of the time. I've always thought it's the chest pain that needs most attention, now I see, coughing should be added to that list too.
I have been sick for 3 days got well for one now I'm running a fever sharp pain in chest back arm pit right arm have cold sweets bad what should i do
ECG and chest X-ray is needed to identify whether there is a lung or heart disease.
Two mornings ago I woke up with a migraine that lasted for 6 hours. The following day i felt week but now more head ache. Yesterday, early afternoon, I experienced horrible pain in my chest. It felt painful and very tight. The tightness also moved up to my throat. It lasted for about 10 minutes. It felt like much longer. I had a little light headed feeling. This took so much out of me and I went to bed hours early and was restless all night long. I am a 55 year old woman. I am in good health. I have no family history of heart disease that I know of. I weigh 115 and I'm 5 ft 3in. I do have borderline high cholesterol. This runs in my family. Diet change did not change my numbers. Could I of had a heart attack?
As you describe, you have typical symptoms of heart attack. I think you should go to the hospital as soon as posiible.
ONIONS give me migraines.  I cut out onions (raw OR cooked) years ago and have NOT HAD A
MIGRAINE SINCE, except if I accidentally get onions in a restaurant.
My name is Mackie Keller I have a bad coughing problem and a real hard to get my breathe some times don't have air to do most walking any where  what do I need to do
Mackie Keller, please tell me your age. How long have you had this symptom? Have you consulted a doctor about it? Do you smoke? If you smoke, how many years do you smoke? Do you have any respiratory diseases? For example, pneumonia, emphysema, cor pulmonale or asthma? Are your feet swollen? When did you find dyspnea, such as walking, running, shopping or getting angry? What is the worst time of the day? Would you be unable to sleep at night because of breathing difficulties? Do you monitor your blood pressure or blood sugar? If respiratory diseases are excluded, cardiovascular diseases are likely to be considered. I suggest you go to the specialist's office for further consultation.

Hello my name is Joe I'm 50 yrs old for the past month I've had this really bad burning in my upper abdomen that continues up to my chest I've been to the ER 4 times had CT scan done EKG and blood work and chest x-rays they've ruled out a heart attack but it keeps on happening sincerely want answers
Hi Joe. What you have seems very complex. I think it'll be better for you to ask it as a new question out there, I guess it'll appear on the front page — as it's new — and more people could help.
How many mild heart attacks can one person have before the big one.  I had one 4yrs ago and now another one.  Im 47 5/ 8 185lbs
A big heart attack doesn't always come after one or several mild heart attackes, when it comes it comes. Schedule appointment with your cardiologist every half year, and do what he tells you to do, incl. managing the blood pressure, managing salt intake, managing blood sugar, eat more fresh leafy veggie and fruits, eat less fat, don't take any processed foods, do exercises.
My Doctor and other Doctors seem to can't find a medicine that works for my high blood pressure what can I do to get and keep my blood pressure in check
There's a reason for everything, Mr. Morgan. There's a cause to resistent hypertension, doctors make efforts to find it out, either unhealthy lifestyle, medication, underlying disease or other conditions that can lead to hypertension. However it may take some time.
Hello Mr. Morgan, have you tried taking three BP meds together? If so, and the medication didn't work, it's resistant hypertension. In this case, your Dr. may try to find underlying causes if any, like aorta problem, kidney problem, or sleep apena, in the meanwhile keep adjusting medications to find the optimal type and dosage for you. You also need to review your menu, cut sodium intake, cut alcohol intake.
I have tightness in the middle of my chest can you tell me how can I stop it my  name is Tangela
If you feel like your chest is tightening, you may worry that you’re having a heart attack. However, gastrointestinal, psychological, and pulmonary conditions can also cause a tight chest, such as:
Muscle strain
Hiatal hernia
Pulmonary hypertension
Coronary artery disease
Esophageal contraction disorder
Esophageal hypersensitivity
Esophageal rupture
Mitral valve prolapse
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
So, we need more information about ur condition.
I woke up this morning feeling a little light headed, went and started the coffee, then sat down, still light headed, and broke out in a very heavy sweat, and vision got kinda blurry.  After it passed,  I drank about a half cup coffee,  then got a quick shower, didn't feel strong enough to wash my hair.  I put my robe on,went and sat down and about 10  maybe 15 minutes later I got a real sharp pain from back left side through my left breast.  Should I have gone to the hospital? I've heard that sometimes muscle spasms can do that.   Thank you, Sue
Hi, Sue. Have you ever had any history of cardiovascular disease? Are you aware of your blood sugar and blood pressure control? For your health, you are advised to go to the clinic for further consultation.
