Knee meniscus tear and cartilage damage are common causes of knee pain and are the most common diseases and typical representatives of knee mechanical diseases.Common symptoms are:

  • Knee pain
  • Swelling of the knee
  • Tenderness when pressing on the meniscus
  • Popping or clicking within the knee
  • Limited motion of the knee joint

Complaints about knee locking up are also common.

To diagnose you'll need to see a doctor and get tests. But the symptoms are similar to meniscus tear and cartilage damage.
