Known as "silent killer", pancreatic cancer often show so few and common symptoms at the early stages that they are mistaken as symptoms of other less severe diseases. When you start to suffer severe discomforts, they are usually at the late stages of the cancer. So, if one or several of these symptoms below appear, you should immediately see a doctor to rule out the possibility of pancreatic cancer.
  • Upper abdominal pain that may spread to the back.
  • Yellowing of the skin and the whites of the eyes (jaundice).
  • Diminished appetite and/or unexplained weight loss.
  • Digestive difficulties.
  • Fatigue.
  • Nausea.
  • New-onset of diabetes in people over 50.
