The A1c test is necessary. It measures your child’s average blood glucose levels over the past 2 to 3 months. Since the level changes on a daily basis, a 2-3 months average level makes you well aware of the kids’ future condition. For children, an A1c level less than 7.5% is recommended. Related FAQs:
