Common causes of children constipation include ignoring the urge to go to the bathroom, early toilet training and changes in diet. Fortunately, most cases of constipation in children are temporary. Parents or caretakers can improve the situation through changing children's diet or taking them to exercise. Constipation in children usually isn't serious.
