This is a multi-center, randomized, double-masked, clinical trial, led by New York University School of Medicine. The objective is to determine whether prolonged suppressive oral antiviral treatment reduces complications of  HZO (shingles in the eye). The result is helpful to improving clinical outcomes in this common disease.
