Recombinant factor IX is the primary treatment for acute hemorrhage or presumed acute hemorrhage. When serious hemorrhage occurs or is likely to occur, the factor IX activity level should be corrected to 100% normal. When minor hemorrhage occurs or is likely to occur, the factor IX activity level only needs to be corrected to 30-50% normal. Medications that are used to treat hemophilia B include:
  • BeneFix
  • Coagulation factor IX
  • Alprolix
  • Alphanine SD
  • Mononine
  • Profilnine SD
  • Rixubis
  • NovoSeven RT
  • Coagulation factor VIIA
  • Bebulin VH
  • Factor IX complex
  • Ixinity
  • Idelvion
  • Rebinyn
