Most people don't have any symptoms, or they have only very mild symptoms. Symptoms of valley fever may include:
  • Cough
  • Fever
  • Fatigue (tiredness)
  • Headache
  • Muscle aches or joint pain
  • Night sweats
  • Rash on upper body or legs
  • Shortness of breath
In extremely rare cases, the fungal spores can enter the skin through a cut, wound, or splinter and cause a skin infection. If your symptoms last for more than a week, contact your healthcare provider. Keyword: symptoms valley fever
