Diet has a direct influence on one’s blood pressure. Therefore, it’s quite important to have a healthy diet, especially for people of high blood pressure. Before you are ready to change your diet to lower your blood pressure, you ought to make up your mind to take up some habits like counting calories and  the portion size. That means, you need to write down the foods you eat every day. To lower your blood pressure, you need to do following things:

Following foods will help you a lot: apples, apricots, bananas, beet greens, broccoli, carrots, collards, green beans, dates, grapes, green peas, kale, lima beans, mangoes, melons, oranges, peaches, pineapples, potatoes, raisins, spinach, squash and strawberries.
