Moles may be present at birth or gradually appear later. Many children develop moles in their teenage years. However, compared to normal body growth of a baby, the growth of moles is very slight.
Moles that are present at birth are congenital moles. They also have a famous name called birthmark. They vary in sizes and have the possibility to become melanoma in the future. Therefore, after a baby with congenital moles enters adolescence, his or her moles shall be monitored regularly. Parents need not overact to baby’s moles, but regular care is essential.
