Q: My kid has already received pneumococcal vaccination. Is it necessary for him to get PCV 13?
A: According to the guideline from Centers for Disease Control (CDC), even though the kid is above 2 years old, so long as he hasn’t reached 6 years old, parents are recommended to take him to have the injection of PCV13.
