Comedo is small and dark spots that are caused by a small plug in the opening of a follicle. Comedo falls into two categories: open comedo and closed comedo. People with comedo may have following symptoms:
  • Open comedo. Blackened. It has a wide opening to the skin and is capped with a blackened mass of skin debris. It is always called blackhead.
  • Closed comedo. It has an obstructed opening to the skin and may rupture to cause skin inflammatory reaction. It is always called whitehead.
If you find you have symptoms above, you had better visit your doctor to have your skin examined. Your doctor will find a suitable way to treat your comedo. Follow your doctor’s suggestion. Keyword: comedones; comedor; comedores
