Eclampsia is essentially preeclampsia plus seizures. When preeclampsia isn't controlled, eclampsia can develop. Eclampsia is much more serious but, with treatment, is rare. You can even go into a coma and die. And, your baby might also die before, during, or after childbirth. Working closely with your doctor can ensure that you have the safest and healthiest pregnancy possible.   Keywords: difference between preeclampsia eclampsia; eclampsia vs preeclampsia.
