Insomnia is a common sleep disorder. If you suffer from insomnia, you may find it's hard to fall asleep, or you may wake up very early and not be able to get back to sleep. Sleep apnea is a potentially serious sleep disorder which causes breathing to repeatedly stop and start during sleep. If you are a sleep apnea patient, you may also have insomnia. But insomnia is only one of the sleep apnea's symptoms. Sleep apnea also have symptoms like loud snoring, shortness of breath, morning headache etc. We can't say one gets sleep apnea only depend on insomnia. If you think you might have sleep apnea, please consult your doctors. Keywords: apnea insomnia
I am positive my husband has it but we have no insurance. I have apnea but had Medicaid at the time so I was able to have the study done to confirm it. I now have to do the CPAP therapy. Medicaid pays for the study but not the machine in Alabama. That was $850 out of pocket. We live paycheck to paycheck on my Hubby's income.
