a mechanical problem with your ear. Sound has trouble moving from the outer ear to the eardrum and middle-ear bones. Medicine or surgery can help to cure.
Causes include:
- An ear infection;
- A trauma;
- A tumor;
- Fluid in the ear;
- An object in the ear such as earwax;
- A hole in your eardrum.
