Cerebral venous thrombosis (CVT) is an uncommon disorder which has a higher frequency among patients younger than 40 years of age, patients with thrombophilia, and women who are pregnant or receiving hormonal contraceptive therapy. It refers to a neurological condition in which a clot in one of the blood vessels in the brain impedes the free flow of blood. The symptoms of cerebral thrombosis are stroke-like symptoms, including:

  • Headaches
